Rainwater collection diagrams

I'm not sure if you guys are meeting today but I am just going over the posts quickly and got an idea while looking at the diagram of the water cycle. Since all water is evaporated either from plants and the ocean, I thought it would be cool to note that at some point when all the water is free of pollutants and being filtered before entering the watertable/lake/ocean, eventually rain water would be drinkable, no? i mean if the water is filtered through photoremediation and then lost to transpiration into the clouds, the rain coming back from the clouds would be clean. Obviously this would take years and years but eventually our system would clean the water to the point where it would be pure again, directly from the source. It's a long shot but I think definitely something that would happen over a period of time.

Is it possible to find Canadian/Toronto stats and not ones in gallons? Maybe Kelly you can find this info out, since you are dealing with the aspects of rain collection/usage etc. Thanks
